Tips
Jan Hatmaker says a flannel backed table cloth makes a great design wall and Anne Johnson said she has used a pull down shade with great results!
If you are doing on point settings for a quilt and need to figure out the corners and triangles: go to www.quiltville.com and check under Tips & Techniques. They have a formula, and even some common measurements.

I really love the newsletter. I thought of an item you might consider for monthly publication; review of quilter's products. I was interested in buying the Simplicity Bias Tape Maker and wondered if any of the guild members bought own and are they happy with the performance? I am also interested in buying a new iron and wonder if anyone has any input. Somebody out there makes a " big board" for ironing. I've seen one at the quilt store for $98. YIKES! How about that bias tape maker that folds and presses the bias tape? I made a work board from piece of rigid aluminum insulation and covered it with black felt. It was huge, extremely light, and cheap and you can stick pins into it.
